On September 13, 1998 The Oglesby Memorial Group Will Have A Parade and will dedicate a monument in honor of the Korean War Veterans. The Group Has raised funds for this project to be possible. Now we're asking for your Group to participate in the parade and make the Celebration complete.

The Parade will originate at Lehigh Park and proceed to Memorial Park (approximately 2 miles) where the Dedication will be held. There will be food stands and refreshments available for participants.

In 1996, The Oglesby Veterans Memorial Group had a parade and dedication for the WWII Veterans. In spite of the rainy weather there were approximately 12,000 thousand people who watched the parade and attended the Dedication. We expect more people and better weather this year.

The Lima-Lima Flight Team will also be present again this year.
